HS25 Inca trail (5 days-daily) This special trip stars from Quito and ends in Cuenca. We will provides private transport to Achupillas, a small Indigenous village where we will stay overnight. During this fascinating trekking experience along the path which was used by the Incas to go the fortress of Ingapirca - a major pre-colonial Inca site which dates back to the 15th century, we will observe the most incredible mountains panoramas. On the last day, we will fly from Cuenca back to Quito. HS26 Inca trail (5 days-daily) This special trip stars from Quito and ends in Cuenca. On the last day, we will fly from Cuenca back to Quito. HS27 Antisana volcano, riding horses, hot springs (3 days-daily) Amazing Mountain scenery. One of the most beautiful snow capped mountains of the Andes. Drive east to Papallacta, from "El Tambo" (12540ft/3800m),we will take the horses and start our 5 hour ride, with breathtaking views of the Antisana Vulcano (19140ft/5800m). Camp near the Uayta's Lagoon. The next day, we will walk around Plaza de Armas (Rocky Mountain), and whit a little luck we'll be able to glimpse the Andean Condor "King of the Andes". On the last day we'll trek back to "EL Tambo" Here we'll be able to swim in the natural hot springs. Return to Quito. HS28 Cotopaxi National park (3 days - daily) *breathtaking scenery from the world's highest active volcano This special expedition is perfect for those trekkers who want a moderate challenge and the thrill of seeing majestic Cotopaxi. We'll drive east towards the Chillos valley, then we'll head south through the striking "Avenue of the Volcanoes", arriving in the Limpiopungo Valley (12540ft/3800m), where we'll camp. In the afternoon we'll trek about 3 hours, reaching the foothills of mighty Cotopaxi (19347ft/5897m), the world's highest active volcano. The next day we'll ascend to Rumiñahui (15840ft/4800) whit breathtaking views of Cotopaxi. Depending on weather conditions we may reach Rumiñahui's summit, whit the chance of seeing the Andean Condor. On the third day we'll drive to "El Parqueadero" (the parking lot. 15180ft/4600m). From this point we'll hike for about an hour to the volcano's refuge lodge (15840ft/4800). A short walk from here will take us to the nearest glacier, where you can enjoy broad views of magnificent landscape, punctuated by volcanoes. Return to Quito. HS29 Papallacta-Cotopaxi volcano (6 days-daily) Drive towards El Oriente (East), Beijing the spectacular and breath taking high plains. Arrive in Papallacta, a small village located in the central highlands. From here we will start our spectacular 6 day trek, and 5 night camp. We'll pass beneath the towering spire of Antisana (19140ft/5897m), and Sincholagua (16050ft/4864m) before reaching the foothills of mighty Cotopaxi (19347ft/5897m) - the earth's highest active volcano, whit the chance of seeing the Andean Condor-"King of the Andes". We should also see herds of wild horses, fields of wild flowers, numerous lakes of fine trout and spectacular Paramo vegetation . On the last day we'll ascend to El Refugio, the Refuge Lodge (4800m) of Cotopaxi. Drive back to Quito. |
